About

Nathan's goals as a designer are founded on his commitment to blending architecture with advocacy work. For all of his projects, Nathan seamlessly integrates diversity, equity, and inclusion in every facet of the design process. Driven by his desire to provide equitable spaces to underserved communities, Nathan's work is centered on uplifting the unique needs of clients and community members.

As a Milwaukee resident, Nathan understands the importance of making impactful design decisions to best serve diverse communities. When making such crucial decisions, he invests an appropriate amount of time and care in identifying the historical and cultural context of the site location. In doing so, Nathan's projects are heavily informed by not only the physical precedents, but also the lived experiences of the community members.

Nathan’s architectural research opportunities have allowed him to study a variety of topics, including climate activism and resource management (Drawdown: Play to Enter, 2023), the impact historical U.S. Supreme Court cases had on the delineation of privacy (Supreme Privacy, 2022), and the environmental impact of persistent border surveillance (Border Surveillance + Environmental Impact, 2024).
